About The Position

The successful candidate will possess a passion for our sports, business, guests and team members. Responsible for leading a crew of Parking Attendants to ensure guest parking is carried out in a safe and orderly fashion in order to maximize resort parking space. Train parking attendants on the proper etiquette for greeting customers and ensuring customer concerns are addressed in a professional and courteous manner. Schedules parking attendants according to forecasted weather and crowds. Ensures all parking attendants have a thorough understanding of the services and venues at the resort so they can communicate those to guests. Communicate with Resort leadership on parking availability and traffic flow. Work will be conducted mostly outside with minimal administrative duties conducted inside.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License and a copy of 3-year motor vehicle record.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Two years’ experience as a Parking Attendant at a ski resort or similar industry experience.
  • Friendly and outgoing with thorough knowledge of resort products, services, and venues.
  • Ability to build a strong team to execute common goals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate safety issues and implement prevention strategies.
  • Strong, clear, concise verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated team player with collaboration skills across departments.
  • Ability to communicate with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to company values and high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to forecast labor needs and schedule accordingly.
  • Proficiency in email, MS Excel (for scheduling), and MS Word.
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outside in inclement, cold weather at high elevation.
  • Ability to sit for hours at a computer and telephone.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a crew of Parking Attendants to ensure safe and orderly guest parking.
  • Train parking attendants on customer greeting etiquette and addressing concerns.
  • Schedule parking attendants based on weather forecasts and crowd levels.
  • Ensure parking attendants understand resort services and venues for guest communication.
