About The Position

The Porter at Towne Park is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and providing exceptional hospitality services in the garage area. This role involves general cleaning tasks, assisting guests with inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. The Porter plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience by addressing customer issues and maintaining the garage facility's upkeep.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• 1-3 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write in Standard English and comprehend simple instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service roles.
• Knowledge of basic general cleaning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleanliness checks of all guest entrances and elevator landings in the garage, including emptying ash urns and trash receptacles.
• Use mops or power washers to clean stains in the common area and wipe signage with appropriate cleaning solutions.
• Maintain general cleanliness around vehicles, including removing debris and using safe solutions for stains on pillars and columns.
• Wipe equipment and signage at garage entrances and exits with cleaning materials.
• Empty returned guest key receptacles and power wash areas needing additional attention.
• Assist guests with directions and inquiries, providing information about the surrounding area and attractions.
• Protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
