Performs responsible specialized work enforcing City ordinances governing vehicle parking; issues parking tickets andplaces thirty-five pound immobilization devices onto vehicles having excessive unpaid violations. Upon completion oftraining, work is performed with limited supervision, requiring the use of independent judgement, and the ability tocommunicate effectively with potentially irate citizens. This position requires the ability to stand/walk/ride a bicycle for extended periods, ride a bicycle throughout most shifts, work in inclement weather and lift up to 35 pounds. WORK SCHEDULE: The position requires you to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
