About The Position
Shows a commitment to quality service by patrolling assigned routes to monitor, regulate, and control beach access parking. Maintains a positive attitude while representing PCI Municipal Services, The City of Satellite Beach and Indian Harbour Beach by providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors alike. Demonstrates knowledge of parking ordinances, access lots, parking permits and beach parking rates. Creates a positive image of the City of Satellite Beach and Indian Harbour Beach by maintaining a professional, empathetic, and composed demeanor when interacting with visitors and residents. Weekends required Holidays required Morning/Evening Shifts Must Be Willing to Work Outside Must have a valid driver's license
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Basic understanding of modern technology devices is essential.
- Clean driving history is a requirement
Responsibilities
- Practices good public relations with customers and visitors by answering questions and providing information concerning parking services at all city own beach access lots.
- Patrols beach parking areas utilizing handheld ticket devices to issue citations for parking violations.
- Pays attention to detail, reports inoperative meters to meter technician personnel, and assists with customer service activities
- Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and safety practices
- Attends work regularly at the designated place and time
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives
- Performs related work as required
