Overview This Parking Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating the parking operations and all aspects pertaining event parking management and assigned traffic control. Work involves responsibility for the coordination of office support and operational activities. Employees in this position are expected to be able to perform any and all work tasks and comply with any work schedules, attendance, or duty requirements which may be established by department rules. This role pays a hourly wage of $27.00 Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays) This position will remain open until December 31, 2025. Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Must have one (1) year’s previous experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Must have flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays, graveyard and weekends.
  • Driver’s license may be required depending on the business needs of the parking location.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates all parking activities, including office support activities, record keeping, budgeting, applications, violation notices and related activities.
  • Handles complaints and related problems with the public, staff or traffic police involving parking issues and any other related areas.
  • Coordinates parking plans with third party vendors for special events occurring, including variable message board placement, and messages to direct traffic.
  • Monitors performance of vendors to ensure all assets are properly maintained and operated.
  • Oversees staff during event day operations.
  • Performs related work as assigned.
