Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
  • Chauffeur driver license; class E or higher for Missouri residents, within thirty (30) days as a condition of continued employment in this job classification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Direct and assist patients and visitors as they enter and exit the hospital parking areas.
  • Offers assistance to guests as appropriate. May include physically assisting guests into or from their vehicles.
  • Alerts Security to any potential issues occurring on Hospital property.
  • Be able to answer any questions a guest may have of about the destination or directions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area at all times. Any potential hazardous situations must be reported immediately.
  • Safely operates vehicle to transport patients to and from designated locations.
  • Assist Security Department in emergency situations by directing emergency vehicles and maintaining traffic control as needed.
  • Assisting ADA patients in and out of the shuttle by operating wheelchair ramp.
  • Responsible for cleaning and servicing vehicle, along with testing equipment, such as lights, horns and windshield wipers to ensure proper operation.
  • May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.
