Position Summary: The parking attendant plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences from the moment they arrive. A friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and ability to efficiently manage parking operations all contribute to the smooth and organized functioning of our resort's arrival process.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Exceptional communication skills, including fluency in spoken and written English.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing guest needs.
Familiarity with restaurant amenities, local attractions, and activities to provide accurate information to guests.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during high-demand periods.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift (range from 8-12 hours).
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Must be able to work nights (3pm to close).
Ability to work outside in cold weather.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Experience in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet arriving guests with warmth and professionalism, assisting them with parking and providing necessary information about the restaurant's amenities and services.
Direct vehicles to appropriate parking spaces, ensuring efficient use of available parking areas.
Maintain a neat and organized parking area, ensuring that traffic flow is smooth and safe for both pedestrians and vehicles.
Assist guests with loading and unloading belongings as needed.
Communicate effectively with other staff members, Restaurant personnel, valets, and security, to ensure a coordinated approach to guest services.
Provide accurate information regarding restaurant activities, events, and dining options to guests.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner, escalating issues when necessary.
Collaborate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to promptly address any parking-related cleanliness or safety concerns.
Maintain knowledge of the restaurant layout, parking policies, and emergency procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
