This recruitment will be used to fill two part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) positions at Oregon State University Cascades (OSU-Cascades). This position will be located in Bend, Oregon. This position will support OSU-Cascades' Transportation Program Manager with administrative and outreach activities. This could include outreach to students and support with management of parking, fleet vehicles, and transportation options. Anticipated wage $17.00 per hour.

  • Provide customer support for parking services.
  • Monitor and report parking trends on and around campus.
  • Support OSU-Cascades' Transportation Options Incentive Program - offering gift cards and other swag to those who choose to bike, walk, carpool, or ride the bus to campus.
  • Monitor parking lots for compliance with parking policies, issuing parking citations as necessary.
  • Promote Transportation Options through events, developing and distributing educational materials, and encouraging students to consider carpooling, biking, and other active transportation options.
  • Represent OSU-Cascades at special events and 'tabling' at events.
  • Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
  • Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
  • Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard.
  • High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program.
  • Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term.
  • Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term.
  • Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term.
  • Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrate intermediate organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to be reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
