About The Position

The Parking Amenity Ambassador supports the overall customer experience and operational efficiency of Park Cedar Rapids facilities. This role combines customer service, security, and light maintenance duties to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming parking environments. Ambassadors assist with vehicle-related amenities, provide security escorts, and help maintain facility standards. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Physical ability to perform light maintenance tasks and snow removal.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle amenities (jump-starts, tire inflation).
• Ability to assess situations and make sound decisions.
• Must pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Nights and weekends required, rotating shifts possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist parkers with jump-starting vehicles and inflating tires.
• Provide personal security escorts when requested.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Conduct routine security patrols and lock-ups.
• Observe and report safety or security concerns to management.
• Assist with enforcement of parking regulations and direct traffic when needed.
• Perform light janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Assist with snow removal (shoveling, spreading salt/sand).
• Support minor maintenance tasks and report facility issues promptly.
• Assist with event parking operations and other duties as assigned.
