About The Position

Parker's Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership Development Program (EHSLDP) offers you the opportunity to develop strong technical knowledge and professional experience preparing you to play a crucial role in Parker's success by making sure that lives of our team members around the world are improved, that the environment is protected and that communities can grow through our local activities. Leadership Development Associates (LDAs) are provided experiences that provide insight into EHS management in a large manufacturing corporation. At Parker, we believe in professional and personal development and that is why you will constantly have access to on-going development opportunities through formal trainings, on-the-job experiences, or coaching and mentoring from other professionals from the organization. Join us in this program as multiple others before you who are now evolving in roles such as: Site, Division, Group or Regional EHS Leaders. The program lasts for two years and includes four rotational assignments, each lasting six months. Participants will be assigned to three US locations during their time in the program, each providing a different manufacturing experience. The first assignment will typically be one year in duration followed by two assignments that are each six months long. The assignments will likely require relocation, and participants will also be required to travel to Parker's corporate headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio approximately every six months for program review, personal development, and interaction with fellow program participants and mentors. Geographic flexibility is required both during and upon completion of the program, and this is not a remote position. At the end of the program, participants are usually extended an opportunity to have a permanent position as a site EHS leader responsible for some or all aspects of EHS management at a Parker manufacturing location. This role may require further relocation, so a participant's flexibility to move is an important consideration in the offer.
