About The Position

General Butler State Resort Park offers country tranquility minutes from the city, with a 53 room lodge, 24 cottages, a 109-site campground, a conference center, the historic Butler Turpin House, 12 miles of trails, a boat dock, mini golf and more. The Park Worker I – Housekeeping works with their team to maintain the appearance of rooms, lobbies, offices, and other service areas. This is a full time, hands on housekeeping role. Primary duties: Perform janitorial and general cleaning of cabins, lodge rooms, cottages, meeting rooms, bathhouses, offices, and common areas (floor care, bed making, bathroom sanitation, furniture polishing, deep cleaning). Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, inspect, and inventory linens; maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and supply storage. Set up and break down meeting and event spaces to specifications (linen, furniture, signage, AV checks, supplies). Empty and clean trash or recycling; assist with minor repairs and report maintenance issues; support Facility Maintenance work orders. Respond to guest requests and coordinate with front desk and other departments. Follow park safety and environmental protocols for chemical use and storage; ensure facilities meet fire and accessibility standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
