About The Position
The Park Superintendent III is responsible for overseeing specified operations of a medium-sized state park. This position assists with the overall operations management of a 460-acre park that includes a 40 room lodge with a restaurant and gift shop, plus 41 campsites and support facilities. The applicant will interpret and ensure compliance with park directives and regulations. Other job duties include providing daily supervision to employees and completing performance reviews. This position provides enforcement of park rules and regulations and state laws within park boundaries. The applicant will have daily contact with the public and must possess excellent public relations skills. A valid driver's license is required, as is the ability to traverse rough terrain.
