$14.00 per hour extra help or part-time position at Bull Shoals State Park in Bull Shoals, AR. This position is responsible for all duties related to the camping registration center's front desk operations. Job duties include greeting and assisting the public, operating registers, registering camping guests, answering a telephone, operating a point-of-sale system, stocking resale displays, and performing daily cleaning of the camping registration center. Applicant will assist the Facility Manager and will complete other duties and activities as assigned. Excellent public relations skills are a must, and applicants should be skilled in the Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Applicant must be able to work a varied shift, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and must possess a valid driver's license. A criminal background check is required. Arkansas Tourism improves the state’s economy by generating travel and enhancing the image of the state.The Park Specialist is responsible for assisting in the daily maintenance, visitor services, and conservation efforts within Arkansas state parks. This role ensures that park facilities, landscapes, and public areas are well-maintained, safe, and accessible for visitors. The Park Specialist also provides customer service, educates guests on park regulations, and supports recreation programs to enhance the overall visitor experience.
