About The Position
If you have a passion for the great outdoors and want to contribute to the enjoyment of visitors at Codorus State Park, we have an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and spirited individual to take on the role of Park Resource Ranger with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. In this position, you will interact with a diverse array of park guests, utilizing your professionalism to foster a safe and enriching atmosphere for all who visit. In this position, you will engage in a seasonal role that does not involve law enforcement, with an emphasis on public engagement, service, and safety. Your duties will encompass providing visitors with detailed information regarding the various programs, resources, facilities, and activities available at Codorus State Park. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that visitors comply with park regulations and the rules that govern the use of Bureau of State Park lands, while also sharing insights about the park's history and the environmental characteristics of both the park and its surrounding areas.
