About The Position
The Park Ranger position at the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation involves assisting Park Managers in ensuring the safety and security of park patrons and property. This seasonal role requires Rangers to patrol various park areas, explain rules and regulations, respond to inquiries, and provide basic first aid. Rangers also assist in emergency situations and may help with facility maintenance and operations during the busy summer season.
