About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining Seminole County Parks. This may include activities such as performing general maintenance such as litter pickup, sweeping and stocking of restrooms, painting, fence repair and dock repair and maintenance. You will provide information to Team Leader on potential problems and disseminate information to campers. May assist in campground public relations, educational activities, and special events/activities, site inspections, coordination with Sheriff on law enforcement issues, public relations, data collection and mapping. Salary will be determined depending on qualifications of candidates who exceed the minimum requirements as outlined within the job description. Additional compensation based on licensure. Performs maintenance, operations, and security at all Seminole County Passive Parks, Boat ramps and Trailhead locations with specific emphasis on both Lake Mills Park, Mullet Lake Park Campgrounds.
