Requirements

• Master's degree or two years of graduate-level education in a related field may qualify.
• Combination of education and experience may also qualify.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Price Field Office's Special Recreation Permit (SRP) program.
• Participate in developed and dispersed recreation site and facility maintenance.
• Maintain and improve tracking systems for SRP issuance and use.
• Prepare National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and maps for SRP authorization.
• Collect, record, and report fees.
• Work extensively with Recreation.gov for SRP management.
• Maintain sign inventory and orders.
• Patrol wilderness areas to detect and deal with unauthorized uses.
• Train permanent, seasonal, and volunteer staff on maintenance of recreation areas and facilities.
• Offer information and education to visitors.
• Maintain back country campsites.
