About The Position
The North Carolina Division of Parks and Recreation is seeking two enthusiastic Commissioned Law Enforcement Officers to fill Park Ranger positions at the North Carolina Zoo. A Zoo Park Ranger serves as a field officer with full law enforcement authority to provide law enforcement security and enforce state laws and park regulations through patrol, education, warnings, citations, and arrests. The position requires a commitment to visitor safety and protection within the zoo boundaries, as well as the ability to respond to emergencies and assist park guests.
