About The Position

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill a full-time, benefited position of Park Police Officer. This position is responsible for providing for the public's safety and for the protection of Park District properties and natural resources, to enforce, as applicable, the Park District Ordinance and state laws, and to enhance park user experiences through assistance, information, and education. Lateral candidates starting pay will be at a step equivalent to their years of experience performing the same or similar work as determined by the employer. In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, Three Rivers is offering a hiring incentive. Hiring Incentive Three Rivers will pay the candidate $6,000 as follows: $2,000 will be paid upon the candidate’s successful completion of the field training program $2,000 will be paid upon the candidate’s successful completion of the probationary period $2,000 will be paid upon the candidate’s successful completion of their second year of employment. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree
  • licensed as a Peace Officer or eligible to be licensed as a Peace Officer in the state of Minnesota
  • Valid Class D Minnesota Driver's License
  • certified as a First Responder

Nice To Haves

  • EMT certification preferred
