All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their interview and will be required to provide proof of work authorization upon hire. Please ensure you are available to attend an in-person interview at the date and time you select, as exceptions cannot be made to this requirement. IF YOU ARE A PREVIOUS AMBASSADOR, PLEASE DO NOT SCHEDULE YOURSELF FOR AN INTERVIEW.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs.
• Must have strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to work with cleaning machines.
• Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time (often in direct sunlight).
• Must be able to work in inside and outdoor weather conditions (i.e., wet/humid conditions and sun).
• Must be able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages, and individuals with special needs.
• During the peak season, must have 5 days of unrestricted availability, to include the weekends
• You must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• May be scheduled 0-40 hours per week based on business need

Responsibilities

• Greets and provides guests with information about park shows and attractions
• Communicates safety policies to park guests.
• Opens and closes gates for shows based on guest occupancy and show time
• Ensures excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations, and needs
• Enthusiastically represents the park by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job
• Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas
• Perform other duties as assigned
