Responsibilities include pruning and trimming trees, removing brush and debris, assisting with concrete repairs, graffiti removal, and fence or equipment repairs such as dugouts and bleacher seats. Additional duties involve cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment, as well as operating equipment like dump trucks and flatbed trailers (excluding transport duties). The incumbent follows routine procedures and guidelines in the application of prescribed duties and works under close supervision. This classification is distinguished from the Park Maintenance Worker II in that the latter performs more complex technical duties requiring a higher level of knowledge and skill.
