About The Position

Perform basic park maintenance activities including mowing, planting, spraying and maintaining landscaped areas and playing fields; maintain the cleanliness of park areas, medians, trails and recreational facilities and non-grassed areas and assist in the planting of trees and shrubs. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Specialized training in park maintenance or landscaping preferred.
Must successfully complete Park Management Training orientation within six (6) months and Park Maintenance Worker level I within one (1) year from date of hire.
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
