Under the direct supervision of the Park Superintendent and the general supervision of the Parks & Recreation Director, this position assists the Park Superintendent in the supervision of the maintenance and development of grounds and buildings assigned to the Parks & Recreation Department. This position acts as lead person in the absence of the Park Superintendent. This position works 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with infrequent overtime required during summer months. This position has been classified as a safety sensitive position and is subject to our drug testing policy to include pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident for the following prohibited substances: marijuana, amphetamines, opioids, phencyclidine (PCP), and cocaine, as well as any drug not approved for medical use by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration or the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
