About The Position

Performs as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Provides a full range of assessment, psychotherapeutic and counseling services to children, adolescents, and families receiving care from the Parkview Behavioral Health Institute. Develops and maintains consultative and liaison relationships with a range of internal and external caregivers, and provides emergency services as required.

Requirements

  • Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other related mental health field.
  • Active, Associate License or Temporary License required.
  • Must be able to bill independently for services rendered.
  • Licensure and certifications must be kept current.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and days of the week.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and good working knowledge of a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting.
  • Must be able to complete job duties autonomously.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze medical and social history information.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, ability to positively influence others with respect and compassion.
  • Requires ability to communicate and resolve conflict.
  • Strong work ethic built on a foundation of proactivity and teamwork.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with the aid of structured problem solving techniques.
