About The Position

The Bar Manager is integral to our operations, responsible for overseeing daily bar activities and ensuring a high level of customer service and efficiency. This role involves staff management, inventory management, compliance with regulations, and leading by example in service excellence. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of bar experience + 2 Years Previous experience in a leadership role as a supervisor or manager
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Adaptability and flexibility as operations change event to event
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily bar operations and ensure all staff adhere to company policies and standards
  • Train, mentor, and supervise bartenders and barbacks
  • Learn strengths and weaknesses of staff to assign the best position for the shift and encourage growth
  • Schedule and manage shifts to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Handle staff issues and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guests have a positive experience.
  • Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regular patrons.
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and innovative cocktails.
  • Manage bar inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and manage costs effectively.
  • Monitor sales performance and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our beverage menu and ingredients.
  • Ensure all drinks are prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
  • Ensure all beverages and ingredients are stored properly and maintain freshness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times
  • Ensure compliance with TABC, EcoSure, and local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Implement and enforce all safety protocols to protect staff and guests.
  • Promote special events and themed nights to attract customers.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions.
  • Create analysis Reports on performance to budget presented at operations meetings
