About The Position
WHO WE ARE: The Elmhurst Park District, established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago, provides parks, recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun. We are looking for someone will help us achieve our vision of becoming a national leader in providing parks and recreation experiences to our community. We are now hiring for seasonal Park Ambassadors to join our team! A successful Part Time Park Ambassador is an individual that is friendly, outgoing, confident but also assertive. They are able to communicate in a positive manner and provide customer service and public relations. Help to educate park users on Park District regulations, services and programs and provide direction when needed. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Park Ambassadors patrol the parks, provide in-the-field customer service, and assist patrons with any issues.
Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Illinois driver’s license.
- High school graduate or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Patrol the parks
- Provide in-the-field customer service
- Assist patrons with any issues
- Educate park users on Park District regulations, services and programs
- Provide direction when needed
