About The Position
The Park Aide (Seasonal) is responsible for operating the entrance station to the park, primarily at San Buenaventura - Main Day, San Buenaventura - Pier Lot, and Emma Wood Group Camp. The duties include selling accountable day use documents, printing and preparing passes, using a computer and cash register proficiently, generating reports, engaging in customer service, answering questions, general problem solving, and light maintenance work. The park aide will perform the routine duties dressed in a full California State Parks uniform and adhering to the grooming standards of the Department. This position may work up to 1500 hours within 12 consecutive months and is designated as not telework eligible.
