Assist in the development, coordination and implementation of a family and child centered program to enhance Women in Recovery (WIR) service delivery and children's outcomes to encompass family services, reunification, and child focused interventions. Provide the opportunity for WIR mothers to have access to a comprehensive array of services that address the needs of their family as well as their children's physical, emotional, social and educational needs. Provide comprehensive child and family support services, advocacy, case management, parent training, caregiver education, school involvement, linkage referral and crisis intervention.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Child/Human Development, Family Science/Studies, or Elementary Education.
  • 2-5 years experience working with children and families preferred
  • Experience working with youth/adults/families
  • Case management, skills in group facilitation, strong communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, strong interpersonal skills, skill in developing respectful relationship with families.
  • Knowledge of child development and effective parenting techniques.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.
