About The Position

The Parent Educator will work independently under the minimal supervision of the Program Director. This role involves providing parent education courses for parents and caregivers, which can be conducted in-person or online. The Parent Educator will facilitate a series of 9-session parenting courses and may also be required to deliver one-time presentations on various parenting topics within the local community. Additionally, the Parent Educator will be responsible for completing necessary paperwork and facilitating after-class debriefing sessions with children's program staff as needed. Training will be provided to ensure adherence to a fully developed parent education model.

Responsibilities

• Provide parent education courses for parents/caregivers in an in-person group format or online.
• Facilitate 9-session parenting courses.
• Deliver one-time presentations on various parenting topics in the local area.
• Complete necessary paperwork related to the courses.
• Facilitate after-class debriefing sessions with children's program staff as needed.
