About The Position

Our Parent Connection Lead plays a key role in supporting the overall operation of Ridgecrest Summer Camps, with a focus on supporting parents and campers throughout Camp Ridgecrest and Camp Crestridge. This role is also responsible for overseeing and operating the camps store from designing, ordering, purchasing, and selling merchandise. By aiding in these ways, you will be playing a large role in "Impacting Lives for God's Glory Through Discipleship and, Adventure."

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Committed, growing follower of Jesus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable training and mentoring
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, design and/or marketing software
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple timelines
  • Demonstrates spiritual maturity and emotional awareness
  • Models Christlike humility, empathy, and discernment
  • Strong ability to develop and lead others
  • Must affirm our statement of faith
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for various camp activities and equipment.
  • Comfortable navigating hills, steep terrain, and climbing a lot of stairs throughout the day.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and temperature conditions—rain or shine, you're ready for it!
  • Must be able to engage with children of different ages, ensuring their safety and enjoyment during activities.
  • Ability to maintain physical activity for extended periods, as camp days can be long and involve continuous movement.
  • Kneeling, Bending, and Reaching: Comfortable with kneeling, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to remain alert and quickly respond to any emergency situations or accidents.

Responsibilities

  • Parent Communication and Administration Assistance
  • Working to build relationships with existing and prospective parents.
  • Assist with camper waitlist management and database
  • Process bulk mailings: newsletters, birthday cards, postcards
  • Assist with supervision of office when Camp Directors are traveling
  • Manages Camp Ridgecrest and Camp Crestridge Clothing Stores
  • Select vendors, work with designers for annual clothing lines
  • Lead Camps team in creating concepts and garment choices each year
  • Ensure the design and ordering process is moving forward, meeting deadlines
  • Design and manage the retail spaces at each camp
  • Manage the online clothing stores
  • Manage Summer Staff
  • Supervise office and retail summer staff (approximately 6-7 employees) in the summer to assure that proper policies and procedures are being followed
  • Attending select Crestridge team meetings to add perspective and cultural wisdom
  • Supporting Crestridge with another full-time team member’s, multi-year view.
  • Offers support in building up Crestridge team interns
  • Other job duties as assigned
