Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (for a minimum of 2 years) with an acceptable driving record
• Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull more than 125lbs
• Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test
• Must have a high school diploma or GED minimum

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a paratransit vehicle along assigned routes and within service areas
• Conduct inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and clean.
• Provide excellent customer service with patience, respect, and professionalism
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, managers, and passengers
• Handle unexpected situations calmly and appropriately
• Report vehicle issues, passenger incidents, or delays promptly
• Collaborate with our medical professionals and management to assure top tier patient care
• Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business
• Other tasks as assigned
