About The Position
The summer program has a variety of programs to meet the diverse needs of special education students. Flexible, collaborative, adaptive, team players should apply! One or more of the following specialized trainings are preferred: Specialized Intensive Program medically fragile/severe special needs (S.K.I.P.) Life Skills; self-contained; certified Special Needs. to work in conjunction with the Somerville Recreation Department (students with severe cognitive disabilities)-CPI trained. (1-7), (8-Transition) K-6 self-contained, social/emotional/therapeutic - CPI trained Autism - CPI trained Special Education Kindergarten Pre-school - CPI trained Academic Special Educators to Teacher Math, Writing and Reading Experience working with one or more of the following populations: Students with ASD Students with multiple disabilities Students with emotional impairments Students with cognitive impairments Students with multiple disabilities
