Requirements

• Certification as a paraprofessional or similar qualification
• First aid and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in the classroom with instructional activities
• Provide support to Special Education students as needed
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Facilitate small group activities and one-on-one support for students
• Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and report to teachers
