Paraprofessionals work alongside teachers assisting students throughout their classroom and school. They help students understand school routines and procedures, assist teachers with curriculum, and implement students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). There are various paraprofessional positions available, including roles for those not working with students with exceptionalities, such as Early Childhood Aides, Instructional Aides, Title I Paraprofessionals, and Interpreter Aides, as well as positions specifically for Special Education, such as Students with Exceptionalities Aide II.
