About The Position
Clara B. Ford Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional to join our team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work closely with some of the most remarkable students and a staff that feels like family. Our mission is to engage students through a multifaceted approach that provides new beginnings aimed at recovery, change, and hope. We strive to create a safe, trauma-informed environment that enables our students to develop into contributing adults equipped with twenty-first-century skills. As a charter school for girls in grades 5-12, located on the historic grounds of Vista Maria, a residential treatment facility in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, we focus on educating the whole child. Our motto, “Together We Will Treat, Heal, and Educate,” reflects our commitment to holistic education and support. As a Paraprofessional, you will work collaboratively with a team-oriented staff and supportive administration.
