About The Position
This opening is for a full time paraprofessional in The Communications Program (for students on the Autism Spectrum) OR The Transition Program.
Requirements
- Must hold (or be able to attain) ISBE Paraprofessional license
- Must be able to complete Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training for verbal de-escalation techniques and physical restraint strategies
- Possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work on a team
- Have an excellent attendance record
- Flexibility and self-motivation
- Willingness to take direction and follow through on tasks
