Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• At least 60 college credits hours in any subject (required)

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children with special needs (preferred)
• Experience working in a classroom setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in group instruction prescribed by the teacher, provide individual instruction, and demonstrate various instructional activities
• Correct students' work while in progress, keep students on task and report student progress to the teacher
• Prepare visual aids and duplicate materials, organize materials at the end of each day, distribute and collect instructional materials
• Serve as a proctor during testing, assist in grading student’s papers as instructed by the teacher
• File data according to regulatory requirements
• Supervise students in the classroom and other locations
• Ensure compliance with laws, codes, and regulations related to services
• Submit reports as required
• Maintain neat, accurate, current, and complete records and reports in a standardized company format
