Requirements

High school diploma required. 2-year degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
A genuine desire to support students with disabilities.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Helpful but not required. Heart, attitude, and willingness to learn matter most.

Responsibilities

Support students in ways that uplift families and strengthen confidence.
Help facilitate hands-on learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, extending learning into the community.
Tailor learning activities to each student’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Help students grow communication, life, and social skills while fostering independence.
Apply positive, respectful strategies that prioritize safety, dignity, and growth.
Champion student voice, rights, choices, and meaningful opportunities.
