Must have at least a high school diploma.
Must have some educational background in child development
Knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics;
Knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, writing readiness
MUST pass ETS Parapro Assessment – A passing score of 460 is required .
Must have at least two years of experience working with children in a school, pre-school, or daycare setting.
Must understand Catholic school philosophy.
Must teach and adhere to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Must have a clear criminal background and must complete our Child and Youth Protection training program successfully.
Background check required.
