About The Position

Classroom Aide GEC School | Full-time | Columbus, OH Schedule: 5 days a week, 9:00a-3:00p. Pay rate: $18-$20/hr depending on experience Responsibilities How you’ll be there for students: Be their advocate, shining star, and mentor. Facilitate the implementation of academic instructional programs, class work, and assessments for students. Maintain program instructional materials and computer lab components. Conduct attendance and program tracking and reports. Monitor students’ computer use and behavior to keep them on task. Foster a positive classroom environment as you maintain the confidentiality of students and families. Requirements

  • Individuals with an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher education; or at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours).
  • OH Education Aide license as required by contract.
