What You’ll Do As the Rural Health Paraprofessional Workforce Coordinator, you will expand and strengthen the paraprofessional healthcare workforce across rural Indiana. You will coordinate with training providers, healthcare organizations, community colleges, and public health systems to develop credentialing pathways, expand training capacity, and track workforce development outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of workforce development strategies, grant compliance, and the unique workforce challenges facing rural communities. You will manage budgets, produce reports for CMS-aligned performance measurement, and build sustainable pipelines of trained paraprofessional health workers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, public policy, workforce development, education, or business administration
  • 5+ years of experience in workforce development, grant management, project management, or program administration
  • Experience working with healthcare organizations, rural communities, training providers, or public health systems
  • Strong understanding of workforce development strategies, credentialing pathways, and training program implementation
  • Knowledge of compliance, budgeting, and reporting requirements for state or federal grants
