About The Position

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Paraprofessional/Teacher's Aide to join a supportive school district in Knightsen, CA for the 2024-2025 school year. This part-time position involves working closely with an 8th-grade student, providing assistance with classroom work and behavioral support. The role is expected to start as a substitute and transition to full-time, with a schedule of 20 hours per week from 8:15 AM to noon.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of speech therapy experience
• Experience working with children, particularly with behavioral caseloads
• Previous school experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist an 8th-grade student on a 1:1 basis
• Support classroom work and redirect behavior as needed
• Comfortably manage behavioral issues and provide necessary support
• Assist with toileting if required
