About The Position

BOCES 5 is looking for a Paraprofessional to assist a student as a 1:1 support. Work under the supervision of teacher or program director to support success for students who have social and emotional disabilities. Will help provide educational services, mentor social skills, and support a therapeutic environment for students to be able to transition successfully to their home schools. Will help with student transportation to and from school so a good driving record is a must. Full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Region V BOCES is a drug-free and tobacco-free campus
• Must be able to pass background checks, and TB assessment
• Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record
