About The Position

CPS has immediate need for substitute personnel to work with students in grades Pre-k through 12. Earn $100/day in a collegial, clean and safe work environment assisting teachers and making a difference in the quality of life of students by: working with individuals and/or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material and/or skills; assist in the implementation of individual student goals, objectives, accommodations and modifications; facilitate the integration of students within the general education classroom and the school environment and other related duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of college credits (60) or an Associate's degree.
• Successful passing score of 457 on CT State Paraprofessional Assessment, or do so in the first 90 days of employment.
• Successful experience with children, preferably in a school setting.
• Acceptable results of a criminal background check.
