About The Position

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience working with students who face a variety of learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Ability to follow teacher direction. Good organization and communication skills. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist supervisory teacher in implementing accomodatons and specialized strategies of instruction, skill development, and task completion. Assist general and special education teachers in collecting data on student progress. Collaborate wit other staff in implenting a behavioral intervention plan, as needed. REPORTS TO: Principal and/or other Supervisor SALARY: In accordance paraprofessional' contract, Step 1.
