About The Position
The Point Pleasant School District is looking for full-time instructional paraprofessionals and playground aides for the current school year. Full-time instructional paraprofessionals work 5.75 hours per day, providing assistance in various special education programs for grades Pre-K to 12. The hourly rate is negotiable upon hire and is dependent on applicable experience, ranging from $16.00 to $22.00 per hour. Pay will be commiserated with experience. Playground aides and supervisory paraprofessionals work 2.5 hours per day, specifically from 10:45 am to 1:15 pm. Their responsibilities include supervising children in grades K to 5 on the playground and during indoor recess. The hourly rate for these positions is also negotiable upon hire, with a starting rate of $15.60 per hour, and pay will be commiserated with experience.
