About The Position
The Paraprofessional I and II positions in Exceptional Student Education are designed to support students with special needs in a school environment. These roles involve following all county, state, and federal policies and procedures while providing academic, emotional, and physical support to students. The paraprofessionals will assist in preparing instructional materials, performing clerical tasks, and participating in lesson planning sessions. They will also be responsible for monitoring students during transitions and maintaining confidentiality regarding student information. Exceptional customer service and professional practices are expected at all times.
