Requirements

Responsibilities

• Monitor arrival and dismissal of students to ensure they reach the correct classrooms.
• Perform tasks such as taking attendance, bus duty, lunch duty, and recess duty.
• Maintain data, point sheets, and anecdotal records of students' behavior and performance.
• Assist students during lunch to ensure proper eating habits and cleanliness.
• Support students with personal care needs, including bathroom assistance and physical comfort.
• Help students with audiovisual equipment and assistive technology, including basic sign language.
• Reinforce pre-academic, academic, and functional skills being taught in the classroom.
• Prepare instructional materials, such as copying and laminating.
• Provide classroom coverage when necessary.
• Accompany students to various classes and special activities to facilitate inclusion.
• Collaborate with teachers and professionals in implementing special education programs.
