Pacheco Union School District is located in the semi-rural region of Shasta County, between the cities of Redding and Anderson. The district consists of two schools: Prairie (TK-3) and Pacheco (4th-8th). Prairie serves about 330 students, and Pacheco serves approximately 375 students in grades 4-8. The district is committed to working in partnership with parents and the community, supported by the Pacheco Prairie Parent Teacher Group (PPPTG), which offers a wide range of learning opportunities, including field trips and an all-district Winter Workshop. Pacheco Union School District prides itself on its reputation for academic excellence, delivered with a caring touch.
