About The Position
Silver Lake Regional Middle School is seeking a 1:1 paraprofessional at the beginning of the 26-27 school year. This position is based on student need and anticipated to be required for 2 years at the Middle School level. Responsibilities include: supporting a student during their school day providing accommodations to a student on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) collaborating with regular education and Special Education teachers administering exams and other duties to be assigned by building administration. Other duties may be assigned by the Special Education Coordinator and/or building Principal. Hours are 7:20am - 1:50pm Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is between $18.28 - $22.38 based on experience. As a full time employee and member of the SL Para CBA, this is a benefits eligible position through Silver Lake including paid sick and personal days.
